🚀 Mission 9th Grade: Inès at the Heart of AI with OBI Partner
Who said a 9th-grade internship is just about sitting silently and taking boring notes? I’m Inès, I’m 14. Outside of school, I love cooking and traveling, but this week, I swapped my recipes for lines of code and algorithms. Spoiler alert: At OBI, they didn't ask me to make coffee; they threw me straight into the deep end!
🕵️‍♀️ Expectation vs. Reality
When my mom told me about OBI Partner, I imagined staying in a corner, watching without making a sound. Wrong! Christopher welcomed me with a big smile and a program worthy of a special mission: testing software, discovering AI, and understanding how international projects are managed.

At OBI, we don’t walk; we run towards innovation. I had the chance to "pick the brains" of the experts, and here is what I learned from each of them:
Christopher (The AI Master): He explained how computers and Artificial Intelligence work (yes, there was A LOT of science!). He also entrusted me with a sacred mission: spotting bugs in the platform prototypes. It was fascinating and quite fun!
Aurore (The Data Scientist): With her, I discovered the behind-the-scenes of back-end and front-end development. She introduced me to several programming languages and a crucial topic: data privacy on social media and generative AI. Things I couldn’t even imagine! 🤫
Matthieu (The Python Expert): I watched him code with impressive speed. He’s a true wizard of the keyboard!
Camila (The Project and Commercial Expert): She introduced me to marketing and business strategies. Thanks to her, I understood the importance of AI in data management and how a company organizes itself to make the right decisions.
⚡️ Verdict: Mission Accomplished!
In the end, I wasn’t a spectator at all: I shared my ideas, analyzed projects, and participated as much as possible. The cherry on top? The multilingual atmosphere. Hearing French, Spanish, and English all day allowed me to improve my languages while learning about tech.
My conclusion? I discovered how the technology of tomorrow is designed, but most importantly, I learned that you can work with total professionalism while maintaining a warm, lighthearted atmosphere full of laughter. A week I won’t forget!
